Managing Componentized Servers Using Redfish

Accelerator hardware and pluggable modules are getting more advanced; and managing this hardware often requires increasingly custom solutions. However; when creating new servers it would be simpler to separate swappable components. Fortunately; BMC hardware has become cheaper and more powerful. This makes it possible to split a complex server into multiple management domains; each with its own dedicated Redfish service running on Open BMC. Redfish is a modern management protocol that exposes a RESTful API over HTTP. This talk will explore the design of these Redfish services; and how to aggregate these individual Redfish services into a single logical service. It should be interesting to people in the Open BMC community; as well as anyone interested in Redfish.
