Panel Discussion: Open D2D PHYs Panel: One PHY to Rule Them All?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The interest in die-to-die (D2D) interconnect has grown with the increase in interest in
chiplet-based design. Correspondingly, interest has grown in open technologies for
die-to-die communication. 2019 alone saw the introduction of two new die to die
technologies from the OCP, the Bunch of Wires and Open HBI. This follows the release
of the AIB from the Intel and the XSR SerDes from the OIF.

This panel will discuss:
The role for each open PHY technology and the potential overlap between them. How
these PHY technologies can be made widely available.
Identify attributes that need to be/can be common across these PHYs such as management,
test interfaces and a data abstraction.
The role of these open PHY technologies in an OCP marketplace
