2020 OCP Virtual Summit

Under the strategy of strengthening the mobile foundation and leading in AIî, Baidu has been steadily building an AI ecosystem, with accelerated productization and commercialization. In this talk, we will share Baidu’s AI Infrastructure including AI chip Kunlun, AI Computer X-Man, AI Computing Platform KongMing and deep learning framework PaddlePaddle to support diversified AI workloads including Vision/Speech/NLP/CTR/Recommendation. Especially we will deep dive X-Man’s evolution, and why Baidu initiated OAM/OAI project together with Facebook and Microsoft. We will also share how Baidu successfully solved the 10TB sparse model challenge in CTR/Recommendation with a single Baidu AI Computer X-Man, which is a good show case for OAI Fully Connected topology.
