The rapidly growing AI applications has created demands for specialized hardware to accelerate their computations and reduce deployment complexity and costs. The OCP community has aligned to the Open Accelerator Module (OAM) form factor for accelerator modules, to ease the design and deployment of these specialized hardware modules.
Aligning the industry to the OAM form factor is the first step to create an interoperable, non-vendor locking Open Accelerator Infrastructure (OAI). Standardizing the management of these OAMs in a vendor-agnostic way is crucial to deploy the OAI in the hyper-scale environments. Towards this goal, we propose to define the OAM management and monitoring tool(OAMTool) . In this talk we will talk OAMTool spec we've collaborated and developed with industry.
