To eliminate headaches caused by unknown or underdeveloped devices and ensure system interoperability in large deployments the OCP NIC 3.0 WG is finalizing a compliance/logo program to provide users and integrators with the confidence that products implementing the OCP NIC 3.0 form factor will meet the specification requirements. Compliant devices will be published on an integrators list and receive a logo to denote demonstrated compliance and interoperability; UNH IOL will lead the certification efforts. Supported by system integrators and hyperscale datacenter users, wide adoption of the program will reduce issues found in the field, and promote the benefits that OCP NIC 3.0 technology has to offer.
