In order to be truly ubiquitous throughout the data center and WAN core, SONiC must embrace new features, platform models, and deployment cases. We demonstrate MPLS and MACsec with MKA on Juniper’s newest 400G modular chassis, the PTX10008. Further, we discuss how hot swappable devices (FRU insertion and removal in a modular chassis) affect SONiC dynamic port management.
